If you are choosing between these operators for a short stay, the final month and refund rules can outweigh a promotional discount. First establish whether you are renting a private unit, a locker or delivered-box storage. The prices and access arrangements are not interchangeable.
Two website conflicts worth resolving
Cube’s self-storage page displays a no-deposit promotional banner while its FAQ describes a deposit equal to one month’s rent. The same English FAQ describes a first-of-month billing cycle; the Chinese explanation is worded differently. Ask the branch to state the deposit, billing date and final-month charge for your exact offer.
U SPACE’s FAQ says online purchases are non-refundable in one answer, then describes an in-person refund application within 14 days of online payment if storage has not been used. Do not assume either statement settles your booking. Ask which product and circumstances qualify, and have that answer recorded before payment.

Use dates to make the answer testable
For example, ask: “If I move in on 18 November and clear everything on 10 February, what must I pay, when must I give notice and what comes back?” Request both a cash-due-today figure and a total non-refundable figure. This exposes different billing cycles without guessing which website wording the branch will apply.
Inspect the access you are buying
For a self-access unit, test the building-to-unit route and the space around the door. For centrally stored boxes or lockers, ask how retrieval is requested, where it happens and whether you can take one item without returning the whole container. A 24-hour branch entrance does not by itself establish instant retrieval from a separate warehouse.
