SoSIM’s HK$33 starter is a separate offer with 50GB and 1,500 minutes; it should not be used as the repeating renewal price. Its 90-day allowance is shared across that period, so do not read 120GB as 120GB every month. Club’s 42Mbps is a ceiling rather than a promise of constant throughput.
Which is cheaper for a year?
Twelve HK$58 one-month packs cost HK$696. To cover at least 365 continuous days using only HK$48 30-day packs, you would buy 13 for HK$624, with 25 days left after day 365. The cash difference is HK$72 for these purchase patterns. Compare introductory and port-in costs separately and do not add a bonus you are not eligible for.
For number keeping, this is the wrong table
Someone abroad who only needs SMS should compare qualifying validity extensions instead of local monthly GB. Club’s expiry rule depends on a service-pack purchase; SoSIM distinguishes account and package expiry. Neither incoming SMS nor a small balance automatically proves that a number will remain active.
For everyday use, try the service where you live before porting. Test a voice call and hotspot as well as a speed test. Choose the pack that covers your needs at the lower total cost; a larger unused allowance is not a reason to keep paying more.
